Divers will love this door-to-door day trip to Catalina Island, in a small group led by a PADI Instructor. Dive The Wall with its colorful coral gardens and depths of up to 100 feet (30 meters), then head to Aquarium Reef for a shallower adventure. After your dives, savor a Caribbean buffet lunch and open bar on the white sands of Catalina Island beach. Proof of certification is required.

What to expect
Pick up from your hotel and travel to the port of La Romana to board a boat heading to your first dive site. After an orientation and safety briefing from the dive master, don your scuba gear and feel the adrenaline start to pump as you prepare for your first dive.

Start at The Wall on the east side of the island, one of the most pristine dive sites in the country, with depths between 33 and 99 feet (10 and 30 m). Below the surface, admire the colorful coral reef gardens as well as other diverse marine life, including octopus, vase sponges, flamingo tongues, and lion and scorpion fish.

Dive to shallower depths at The Aquarium on the opposite side of Catalina Island, with a maximum depth of 40 feet (12 m). Explore the waters with moray eels, lobsters, and yellow rays at what is considered one of the best dive sites in the Dominican Republic. Continue your diving adventure with a delicious Caribbean-style buffet lunch and take advantage of the open bar amid palm trees and the white sands of a beautiful Catalina Island beach.
